IOMC 2019
International Outcome Measurement Conference
The American Congress of Rehabilitation Medicine (ACRM), the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab, the Measurement Networking Group of ACRM, and the Journal of Applied Measurement have collaborated to organize a health outcome measurement conference to be held in Chicago. This meeting of IOMC marks the first collaboration with ACRM to share meeting times and location to further enhance the opportunity to share new developments in outcome measurement, meet new colleagues, and reconnect with old friends. IOMC 2019 will be held in Chicago at the Hilton Chicago, the conference hotel for ACRM Annual Conference. The two-day pre-conference will be held on Sunday, November 3, and Monday November 4, 2019.
This is the sixth meeting of IOMC, a series of health outcomes meetings that originated in 1996. The first IOMC, organized by Richard Smith and Ben Wright, was held at the University of Chicago. IOMC 2019 will feature 12 presentation sessions over two days. The paper and symposium submission period is now open. The preliminary schedule is will be available in October, 2019. Following peer review, the papers presented at this conference will be published in the Journal of Applied Measurement beginning in 2020. Authors are invited to provide a peer review copy of the manuscript that will be presented at IOMC 2019 as soon as possible to expedite publication. The Journal of Applied Measurement is indexed in Pub Med and Index Medicus, which provides medical researchers easy access to abstracts of the articles.
Conference Registration
IOMC 2019 registration and housing will be managed through the ACRM Annual Meeting website. That site is currently available at www.ACRM.org/register.

The conference dinner is planned for Sunday, November 3, but the location has not been determined. The cost of the dinner is not included in the registration fee.
